Journal & Planner
Combine freehand drawing with AI-generated decorative elements to create hand-drawn journals and planners.
Freehand + AI Decorative Elements
SparkLumina’s Journal & Planner workflow blends the best of both worlds: your hand-drawn strokes and AI-generated decorative elements. Draw freely with the pen tool—sketch layouts, margins, headers, or custom dividers—then invoke the AISidebar to add banners, icons, borders, calendars, or thematic graphics. The AI output is styled to complement a hand-drawn aesthetic.
The result feels like a personalized paper journal, but with the convenience of digital editing and the power of AI-assisted design. You control the structure; the AI fills in the polish.
Subject × Chart Type Selector
The subject × chart type two-level selector in AISidebar tailors output to your journal style. First, choose a subject such as “journal,” “planner,” “bullet journal,” or “sketchbook.” Second, choose a chart type—banner, calendar, divider, icon set, or decorative frame.
For example, selecting “planner” + “calendar” yields a calendar grid; “journal” + “banner” yields decorative headers. The selector narrows the AI’s focus so it produces exactly the kind of element you need, reducing trial and error.
Auto-Layout
When you request multiple elements (e.g., “Add a weekly spread with seven columns”), the AI arranges them in a sensible layout. Columns are aligned, spacing is consistent, and elements are grouped logically. You can then move or resize individual components, or ask the AI for refinements.
Use Cases
Create daily logs, weekly planners, habit trackers, gratitude pages, or themed spreads. Combine your own doodles with AI-generated headers, stickers, and dividers. Export as PNG or SVG to print or share digitally, or keep working in the .excalidraw file for ongoing edits.
