Blackboard Newspaper
Use AI Smart Drawing to auto-generate hand-drawn illustrations and text layouts on the canvas with real-time collaboration.
AI-Generated Illustrations and Layouts
Blackboard Newspaper is SparkLumina’s workflow for creating classroom-style posters, bulletins, and newsletters. Open the AISidebar and describe the theme—e.g., “Spring festival poster with a dragon and lanterns” or “Science week bulletin with a lab flask and formulas.” The AI generates hand-drawn style illustrations and text blocks, arranged in a balanced layout.
The output mimics the charm of hand-drawn classroom displays: slightly imperfect lines, playful typography, and cohesive compositions. No design software expertise is required—teachers and students describe what they want, and the AI does the drawing.
Smart Layout
The AI places illustrations, titles, and body text in logical zones. Headers go at the top; supporting graphics flank or fill sections. Multiple sections can be laid out in columns or blocks. You can refine by dragging elements or asking for adjustments (“make the title bigger,” “add a border around the main image”).
Multi-User Collaboration for Sections
Create a room and invite the class. Different groups can claim different sections of the blackboard. One group designs the header, another the main illustration, another the sidebar. Everyone works simultaneously on the shared canvas. Socket.IO keeps edits synchronized; version-based conflict resolution (LWW) ensures concurrent changes merge cleanly.
Live Cursor Feedback
As collaborators work, live cursors show where each person is pointing or editing. You can see who is working on which section, avoid stepping on each other’s toes, and coordinate in real time. The experience feels like multiple people at a physical blackboard, but without the space limits.
Use Cases
Ideal for class newspapers, project posters, event bulletins, and thematic displays. Export as PNG or SVG to print for the classroom wall, or embed in digital portfolios and presentations.
